Creating a Solar.Web User ID

When your Fronius system is commissioned it will be registered on Solar.Web.
(Solar.Web requires internet connectivity at the inverter)

In order to access monitoring data for your Fronius system, a Fronius Solar.Web User ID is required.

Go to Solar.Web at the link below.

https://www.solarweb.com/

Click ‘Login’ then ‘Register Now’

Once your SolarWeb ID has been created we can assign your system to your User ID for access.

Fronius Datamanager

Fronius inverters provide data communication and system monitoring through the use of an integrated Datamanager. Connection to the internet can be achieved via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, with Wi-Fi being the most common method.

The Fronius Datamanager 2.0 is on-board with inverters of the SnapINverter generation and it can also be retrofit it to all other (older) inverters.

Whenever it is connected to the internet via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, the Fronius Datamanager sends PV system data directly to the Fronius Solar.web online portal. This provides a detailed overview of how the system is performing at any time.

System monitoring and configuration of the Datamanager can be carried out via local network access (LAN or WLAN) to the dedicated website on the integrated web server of the Fronius Datamanager.

Status code display

Fronius inverters perform system self-diagnosis that automatically detects faults that may occur and shows them on the inverter display. If the system self-diagnosis detects a specific fault, the associated status code will be displayed on the inverter screen.

Not all status codes represent a permanent problem or fault. Some status codes can occur temporarily during normal system operation. The most common of these will be Class 1, 3, or 5 status codes.

Class 1 – status codes (1xx)
State codes beginning with 1 usually only occur momentarily if the power from the electricity grid is outside the inverter operating parameters.
The Fronius inverter disconnects from the grid and attempts to re-connect after a specified period, as long as no further errors have occurred.
The STATE code is displayed while the grid is being checked.

Class 3 – status codes (3xx)
State codes beginning with 3 may occur while feeding energy into the grid, but generally do not cause the process to be interrupted for any length of time. The inverter disconnects automatically from the grid, the grid is then monitored as specified and the inverter attempts to resume feeding energy into the grid.

Class 5 – status codes (5xx)
State codes beginning with 5 do not generally interfere with feeding energy into the grid, but can cause restrictions.
These status codes are displayed until they are acknowledged by pressing a key (however, the inverter continues to operate normally in the background).

For Primo, Symo, and Eco inverters, the complete list of state codes are provided at the buttons below.
